Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Milton Keynes MK6 is seeking an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our waste management team. The role involves driving a refuse collection lorry to collect and empty bins from residential and commercial premises, with loaders accompanying.

The position offers an early start, flexitime, and the opportunity to progress from temporary to permanent. A valid HGV Class 2 licence (minimum 6 months) and 1 year trade waste experience are required; salary £16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse lorry.
• Collect refuse from residential and commercial premises with loaders.

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5am - 2.30pm half hour unpaid break or 4am - 1.30pm half hour unpaid break

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our successful client based in the Milton Keynes MK6 area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse collection lorry and collecting/emptying bins from residential and commercial premises accompanied by loaders.
• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
