Job summary

Smart Solutions is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy Waste & Recycling operation in Norwich (NR5). This role offers guaranteed hours, weekly pay, and immediate starts.

You will drive a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle, complete residential and commercial collections, work alongside loaders, and perform daily vehicle checks in a safety‑conscious environment. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, Tachograph card, and have at least 90 days' recent driving

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 90 days' recent HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle
• Completing residential and commercial waste collections
• Working alongside loaders on planned collection routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Operating safely and in line with transport legislation
• Following all transport and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 90 days' recent HGV Class 2 driving experience
• A reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
