Job summary

Smart Solutions in Farnham, GU9 area, is hiring an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our waste management client. You will drive a refuse lorry and assist loaders in collecting bins from residential premises, ensuring all duties are completed.

The role requires a minimum 6 months of HGV Class 2 driving experience, an immediate start, and may be assigned to multiple sites within the area. Temp to perm; holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in HGV Class 2 driving.
• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving license.
• Immediate start; temporary to permanent position.
• Holiday pay included where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry or bin lorry.
• Collect refuse from different local areas daily.
• Complete additional work and missed bins.
• Assist with moving domestic wheelie bins.
• Maintain awareness of other road users and drive safely.

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our successful client based in the Farnham, GU9 area. Our client who specialises in Waste Management is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

Successful candidates may be assigned to various sites within the area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed.

A minimum 6 months experience in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
• Immediate start
• Temp to perm
• Holiday Pay
