Job summary

Smart Solutions are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy waste management team based in Melton Mowbray. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for driving a range of vehicles and supporting essential waste collection and environmental services across the local area.

You will safely operate an RCV, deliver bins, assist with loading, perform daily vehicle checks and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV Class 2 driver
• Experience in waste management is beneficial
• Ability to operate multiple vehicle types safely

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV).
• Drive a 7.5T vehicle to complete bulky waste collections.
• Carry out fly-tip clearances.
• Deliver wheeled bins and waste containers to customers.
• Assist with loading duties when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow health and safety procedures and road regulations.
• Provide a professional service while representing the company.

About the Role:
