Cleansing Service Group Ltd in Bristol is seeking a motivated HGV driver to join our dedicated team. This permanent, full-time role offers 40 hours per week with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will operate a tanker, collect industrial and domestic waste, support customer care, and work with our depot to deliver reliable service. A valid HGV Class 2, Digi-card and CPC are required, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence and Digi-card.
• Current CPC qualification.
• Experience in waste management desirable but training provided.
• Able to work independently and reliably outside standard hours.

Responsabilités

• Visit domestic customers to collect sewage waste.
• Advise customers on operation of the waste system.
• Operate the tanker with safety and care.
• Form part of the on-call rota and complete out-of-hours work.
• Collaborate with the transport depot to service long-standing customers.
• Visit commercial premises to collect industrial waste and cleanse drainage.

Hours:

40 hours per week (+ Overtime)

• Time and a half after 40 hours
• Double time on Sundays
• £227.00 standby payment
• Call-out payments: (£63.60 - Monday - Friday inclusive.) (£79.75 - Saturdays & Sundays only.)

Role Accountabilities:

• Your own modern vehicle with back up from centre engineering, and a vehicle investment programme of over £4m per year.
• Visiting and building good relationships with our domestic customers and collecting sewage waste.
• Helping our customers with advice and guidance on the operation of the waste system.
• Operating our tanker with skill and necessary safety awareness.
• Forming part of our on-call rota, completing out of hours emergency work.
• Working together with our transport depot to deliver excellent service to our long serving customers.
• Visiting our commercial customer premises, collecting industrial waste, and carrying out site drainage cleansing, including channels, gullies, and interceptors

The Candidate:

• Enthusiastic and committed to delivering quality customer service.
• HGV class 2 licence.
• Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
• Experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Experienced HGV driver who enjoys working independently.
