Job summary

Cleansing Service Group Limited in Chailey is seeking an enthusiastic HGV driver to join a permanent, full-time role. You will visit domestic and commercial customers, collect waste, and advise on waste-system operation while supporting a 40-hour week and on-call duties.

The position requires HGV Class 2 licence, Digi-card, and CPC qualification, with overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Visiting domestic customers and collecting sewage waste.
• Advise customers on operation of the waste system.
• Operate tanker with safety awareness.
• Be part of the on-call rota and out-of-hours work.
• Work with the transport depot to serve long-serving customers.
• Visit commercial premises to collect industrial waste.

Role Accountabilities:

• Visiting and building good relationships with our domestic customers and collecting sewage waste.
• Helping our customers with advice and guidance on the operation of the waste system.
• Operating our tanker with skill and necessary safety awareness.
• Forming part of our on-call rota, completing out of hours emergency work.
• Working together with our transport depot to deliver excellent service to our long serving customers.
• Visiting our commercial customer premises, collecting industrial waste.

The Candidate:

• Enthusiastic and committed to delivering quality customer service.
• HGV class 2 licence.
• Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
• Experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Experienced HGV driver who enjoys working independently.
