Cleansing Service Group Limited (CSG) is seeking a committed HGV Class 2 driver for our Botley depot near Southampton. You will operate our tanker, collect domestic and commercial waste, and support customers with guidance on the waste system.

Formación

• HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• Digi-card and CPC qualification required.
• Experience in waste management is desirable but not essential with full training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Operate our tanker to collect sewage waste.
• Visit domestic and commercial customers and provide guidance on waste system operation.
• Work with the depot and engineering support to deliver excellent service.
• Be part of the on-call rota and complete out-of-hours emergency work.
• Maintain safety awareness and vehicle standards during duties.

Salary: £15.50 per hour

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week

• Call-out payments: (£63.60 - Monday - Friday inclusive) ( £79.75 - Saturdays & Sundays only)

Role Accountabilities:

• Your own modern vehicle with back up from centre engineering, and a vehicle investment programme of over £4m per year.
• Visiting and building good relationships with our domestic customers and collecting sewage waste.
• Helping our customers with advice and guidance on the operation of the waste system.
• Operating our tanker with skill and necessary safety awareness.
• Forming part of our on-call rota, completing out of hours emergency work.
• Working together with our transport depot to deliver excellent service to our long serving customers.
• Visiting our commercial customer premises, collecting industrial waste, and carrying out site drainage cleansing, including channels, gullies, and interceptors.
• Visiting our domestic non-hazardous customers collecting sewage.

The Candidate:

• Enthusiastic and committed to delivering quality customer service.
• HGV class 2 licence.
• Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
• Experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Experienced HGV driver who enjoys working independently.
