Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 driver based in Bristol to join our team in a permanent, full-time role. You will deliver chilled, ambient and frozen goods to stores across the South Wales/South West region and parts of London, maintaining safety and compliance at all times.

You will need a valid HGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with at least 6 months of HGV Class 2 driving experience. We offer a supportive pension, GP access and employee discounts.

• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• At least 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, ambient and frozen goods to stores across assigned regions.
• Typically 6–7 drops, up to 11 on busy days.
• Cover areas including South Wales, South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.

Pay Rate: £42,116.48 plus an additional responsibility bonus £2,600 per year

Shift patterns: Either Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 4 days out of 7.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will be delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to store.
• On average there is around 6-7 drops but can be as much as 11 on occasions.
• Areas delivering too - All South Wales and South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling will be required for this role.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You must have at least 6 months HGV Class 2 Driving experience.
