Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to load, deliver and collect rental pump and power equipment from customer sites, based out of the Warrington depot. You will work confidently, legally and safely, performing on-site checks and administration.

Key requirements include a full UK HGV Class 2 licence, Digital Tachograph card, valid CPC, health and safety awareness, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in loading, delivering and collecting equipment to/from customer sites.
• Full UK HGV Class 2 driving licence and valid Digital Tachograph card are essential.
• Valid CPC, ideally with minimum 3 months remaining before expiring.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow them in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect rental pump and power equipment to customer sites.
• Operate safely and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Complete checks and administration for hires accurately.

GAP Pump & Power Services Division provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

The role of the HGV Driver involves loading, delivering and collecting rental pump and power equipment to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner whilst driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times. The HGV Driver must ensure that all relevant checks and administration involved for the hire are completed accurately.

**Please note this role will be based out of our depot in Warrington and therefore candidates should be suitably located.
