Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions is looking for a professional Driver to join our Welfare Services team. You will load, deliver and collect portable toilets and ADA units to customer sites, ensuring timely, safe and accurate administration on each hire.

The ideal candidate will have significant driving experience in delivering and collecting equipment, hold a full UK driving licence, and demonstrate excellent customer service with attention to detail while following Health & Safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in delivering and collecting equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience towing equipment; tachograph card desirable.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to/from customer sites.
• Demonstrate equipment on customer sites when required.
• Complete checks and administration for hires accurately.

Our Welfare Services division hires a range of portable chemical toilets and ADA approved wheelchair access units alongside mobile eco welfare units.

The Role:

Our Drivers are responsible for the loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner. When on customer sites, there may be a requirement to carry out hire equipment demonstration and Drivers must ensure that all relevant checks and administration involved for the hire are completed accurately.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Significant experience working within a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in towing and a digital tachograph card are desirable
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
