Job summary

GAP Group Limited is hiring a Labourer/Driver for the Pump & Power Services Division in the Greater London area. You will be responsible for keeping the depot clean, checking equipment, and ensuring timely delivery and collection of equipment to GAP Group customers.

The role requires a proven track record in a similar environment, a responsible driving style, and a valid full driving licence. Training and opportunities for career progression are provided within GAP Hire Solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment.
• Forklift Licence would be highly beneficial
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Full driving licence is essential

Responsibilities

• Keep all depot areas clean and tidy on a daily basis.
• Ensure equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to the highest standards.
• Provide timeous professional delivery and collection of Pump & Power Equipment to and from GAP Group customers.

Working in the heart of the depot the Labourer/Driver will be responsible for keeping all areas clean and tidy day in day out, and ensuring that any equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to the highest standards. You will also ensure timeous professional delivery and collection of Pump & Power Equipment to and from GAP Group customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.
