STARK Building Materials UK is seeking an Area HGV Class 2 Driver for Jewson Stockport. You will deliver building materials to customer sites with a professional approach, operating a crane and assisting colleagues as needed.

The role covers a cluster of branches in the Stockport area, with full training provided. A valid HGV Class 2 license, CPC card, and Digi Tachograph are required; multi-drop experience is helpful but not essential.

• Multidrop experience is handy but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers in a professional manner.
• Load/unload materials, operate the crane, and assist team members as needed.
• Cover absence within designated area and support branches within cluster.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area.

You will be assigned to our Jewson Stockport branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are; Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Altrincham, Marple, Hazel Grove, Manchester central Romiley, Bredbury, Ashton under Lyne

You will be paid a subsistence.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
