Job summary

Booker Limited in Sheffield is seeking a local delivery driver to join our branch team. You will drive locally, build relationships with regular customers, and ensure deliveries arrive on time with a high standard of service. This 7-day operation may include weekend work.

Previous driving experience (at least two years) and a Cat C / 18T licence are essential. You will load goods, complete paperwork accurately, and contribute to stocking customer shelves.

Qualifications

• Two years of driving experience required
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to perform manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills and positive customer service attitude
• Good literacy and numeracy skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers shelves are stocked with required products

You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers. Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service. This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately. You will need Cat C / 18T Licence
