Job summary

Booker Limited is seeking a local delivery driver to join our delivery team. You will load stock at the branch, drive locally to customers, and unload deliveries while ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need a Cat C / 18T Licence, good literacy and numeracy, and a customer-focused approach to keep shelves stocked and customers satisfied. Some weekend work may be required within a seven-day operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of driving (at least two years).
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch.
• Unload deliveries at customer premises.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers. Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service. This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.
