Job summary

Booker is seeking delivery drivers to join our local delivery team. You will be on a Mon to Fri pattern with one Saturday in four, working around 45 hours per week with occasional overtime. Build relationships with regular customers and ensure timely deliveries with high service standards.

You will load at the branch, drive locally, unload at customer sites, and complete required paperwork accurately. CatC licence and previous delivery experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T licence is required.
• Previous driving experience, preferably with deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive deliveries on time with great service.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain records.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• CatC / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
