Job summary

Jewson Retford is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 delivery driver to join our team, delivering building materials to customers with a professional approach. The role involves loading, unloading, and operating a vehicle-mounted crane.

HIAB training is provided, and you will receive a fully funded induction at our training academy. We offer social hours, 34 days holiday, pension, life cover, staff discounts, and ongoing CPC training.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Multidrop experience is handy but not a necessity.
• HIAB training provided or in training

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle.
• Operate the crane mounted on the vehicle (HIAB).
• Support team members as required.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
