Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver with HGV Class 2 to join our Craigentinny team. You’ll deliver building materials to customers across multi-drop routes, loading, unloading, and operating the on-board crane, with a professional, friendly approach.

We offer a fully funded induction at our training academy, Allmi crane licence, 34 days’ holiday, pension, life assurance, staff discounts, CPC training, and genuine opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Allmi crane licence beneficial for crane operations.
• Multidrop experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers with a professional approach.
• Load/unload materials, operate the crane and support team members as needed.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
