Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle drivers for ongoing roles in the Tees Valley area. The role involves collecting commercial, general and food waste from business customers and requires assisting with loading when needed.

A dedicated loader supports the driver to meet daily schedules. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with overtime opportunities and a permanent/Temp-to-Perm path.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license required or held.
• Safe and compliant driving practices.
• Strong customer service mindset is beneficial.
• Ability to assist with loading tasks when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV).
• Complete scheduled collections of commercial, general and food waste.
• Assist Loader with manual handling and loading duties as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reporting.
• Follow planned collection routes while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with road transport, health & safety and environmental legislation.
• Complete all relevant paperwork or electronic records accurately.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) Drivers to join our client's growing waste management team.

This role involves collecting commercial waste, general waste and food waste from a variety of business customers, ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of customer service.

You will be accompanied by a dedicated Loader, however this is a physically active role and drivers are expected to assist with loading and collections when required to help the team complete the daily schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
