Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd are recruiting a Class 2 driver for our client in Trafford Park. The role involves delivering palletised goods to business and private addresses across Greater Manchester.

Start times vary from 07:30 to 08:00, with 8–10 deliveries per day plus occasional collections. A small amount of handball is required, but an Electric Pallet Truck is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to business and private addresses across Greater Manchester.
• Make 8–10 deliveries per day with occasional collections.
• Handle handball duties; use Electric Pallet Truck as needed.
• Complete PODs and return to depot manager.
• Represent client with good customer service.

Job description

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Class 2 driver to work on an ongoing basis for our client in Trafford Park.

The job role will involve the delivery of palletised goods to business and private addresses across Greater Manchester.

All work will be undertaken in a Class 2 Curtainside Wagon. Successful candidates can expect to make between 8 and 10 deliveries per day as well as a collection. There is a small amount of Handball required, however you will be provided with an Electric Pallet Truck.

It is essential that all POD’S are completed for each drop and returned to the depot manager at the end of the working day. Good Customer Service skills are required in order to represent our client in a professional manner.

Start times for this vacancy will vary between 07.30am and 08.00am.

PAY RATE £16.00-21.00
