Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver to join an established logistics business based in Darwen on a full-time permanent basis.

The role offers Monday to Friday work with an 8am start, completing palletised deliveries and collections across the BB postcode area while maintaining high safety and accurate paperwork.

Candidates must hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph cards, with no more than six points and no disqualifying codes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC card required.
• Digital Tachograph card and ongoing compliance with tachograph rules.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DR/DD/DG/CD/IN/TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Perform palletised deliveries and collections within the BB postcode area.
• Maintain safe, professional driving standards at all times.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Working week of Monday to Friday,
• Shifts starting at 8am and averaging 8 to 12 hours
• £17.93 per hour – inclusive of holiday pay

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing palletised deliveries and collections across the BB postcode area
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
