Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Class 1 driver for an ongoing role based in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester. You will deliver palletised goods to business and private addresses across the area, with 8–10 deliveries per day and occasional collections.

Start times vary between 07:30 and 08:00. You will work with a Class 1 Curtainside Wagon, with some handball and the use of an Electric Pallet Truck provided.

Qualifications

HGV Class 1 Licence and Driver CPC required.
Tachograph card and knowledge of UK regulations.
Reliable, safety-focused candidate.

Responsibilities

Deliver palletised goods across Greater Manchester (business and private addresses).
Make 8–10 deliveries per day and perform occasional collections.
Some handball; Electric Pallet Truck provided.
Complete PODs for every drop and return to depot manager.

Job description

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis for our client in Trafford Park.

The job role will involve the delivery of palletised goods to business and private addresses across Greater Manchester.

All work will be undertaken in a Class 1 Curtainside Wagon. Successful candidates can expect to make between 8 and 10 deliveries per day as well as a collection. There is a small amount of Handball required, however you will be provided with an Electric Pallet Truck.

It is essential that all POD’S are completed for each drop and returned to the depot manager at the end of the working day. Good Customer Service skills are required in order to represent our client in a professional manner.

Start times for this vacancy will vary between 07.30am and 08.00am.

PAY RATE £16.00-21.00
