Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Skelmersdale. The role involves completing 10–12 multidrop deliveries per day and unloading using a mix of forklift and pump truck.

You will also be responsible for accurate paperwork and maintaining safe driving standards. Shifts start between 5am and 7am, Monday to Friday, with shifts averaging 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 licence with 1 year driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 points and no disqualifying endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Complete 10 to 12 multidrop deliveries daily.
• Unloading using forklift and pump truck.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain safe, professional driving standards.

Our client operates a busy multidrop delivery operation, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with deliveries unloaded by a mixture of forklift and pump truck.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, starting between 5am and 7am

• Paid weekly at £17.93 – inclusive of holidays

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing 10 to 12 multidrop deliveries per day
• Unloading using a mixture of forklift and pump truck
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
