Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing day shifts with multi-drop routes and handball.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 license, CPC and Tacho, with up to 14 drops per shift, some palletised, with early starts 03:00–06:00 and 5-out-of-7 patterns; PAYE rates shown.

Qualifications

• Hold valid HGV Class 2 license.
• CPC and Tacho cards required.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR/TT/IN offences.

Responsibilities

• Perform 10–14 drops per shift, with caged and palletised goods.
• Carry out store deliveries and manual handling as needed.
• Attend to handballing and safe loading/unloading.

HGV Class 2 Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting HGV Class 2 Driver for a client based in Stoke-On-Trent. This will be an ongoing opportunity for day drivers. This position is a multi-drop position with handball involved on all deliveries.

HGV Class 2 driver will require:

Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License

No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)

Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards

HGV Class 2 driver work will involve

Min of 10 drops up to 14 both caged and palletised.

Store deliveries

Manual handling involved (loading/unloading).

HGV Class 2 driver shift patterns are

Start times 03:00 - 06:00

Tuesday to Saturday

Sunday to Thursday

HGV Class 2 driver PAYE pay rates are:

£17.89 Monday to Friday (0400 -1900)

£19.98 Monday to Friday (1900 - 0400)

£31.24 Bank Holiday (retains holiday)

Overtime £24.36 after 48 hours (0400 - 1900)

Overtime £27.46 after 48 hours (1900 - 0400)
