Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Chelmsley Wood. The client operates a busy store delivery operation across the Midlands, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with a 6am start.

As a driver you will complete store deliveries across the Midlands – 16 pallets over 10 to 12 drops per day, unload using a pump truck, and complete all delivery paperwork accurately while maintaining safe and

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with 1 year driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 points with no restricted endorsement codes.

Responsibilities

Our client operates a busy store delivery operation across the Midlands, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with a 6am start.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 6am starts
• Shifts averaging 10 hours
• Paid weekly at £18.49 per hour – inclusive of holidays

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing store deliveries across the Midlands – 16 pallets over 10 to 12 drops per day
• Unloading using a pump truck
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
