Palletforce is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our North London, Enfield team. You will perform driving duties, conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure accurate recording via handheld terminal, with paperwork submitted to the Transport Office.

You will uphold high health and safety standards and may drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods. The role typically runs Monday to Friday, with weekend work available.

Formación

• Must hold Class 2 driving licence and CPC.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Previous HGV driving experience advantageous.

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES:

• Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
• Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
• Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
• Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times
• You may be required to drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
• Standard days Mon to Fri, weekend work available

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Qualifications. Class 2 Driving License (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card. HGV/LGC Class license.
• Experience. Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
• Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
• Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
• Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
