Job summary

Palletforce in Enfield is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time, on-site role. You will deliver to customers, perform safety checks, and manage paperwork with attention to accuracy while upholding outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive various HGV driving duties and perform daily vehicle checks.
• Record accurate information using handheld terminals.
• Complete and return paperwork to Transport Office.
• Report delivery issues promptly to Transport Office.
• Provide a professional driving service meeting customer expectations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Occasionally drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
• Work standard days Mon–Fri; weekend work available.

THE ROLE

HGV Class 2 Driver | Full Time | Enfield

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics, and as a fully qualified Class 2 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

This role will be based at our site in Enfield.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
• Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
• Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
• Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times
• You may be required to drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
• Standard days Mon to Fri, weekend work available

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Qualifications. Class 2 Driving License (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card. HGV/LGC Class license.
• Experience. Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
• Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
• Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
• Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
