Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited are recruiting on behalf of a Weybridge-based client for HGV drivers to join their night-shift team. Roles include moving palletised parcels, handling runs, and ensuring accurate paperwork while maintaining safety and professional conduct.

Requirements include a Full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement, valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and compliance with WTD. Multiple contract types offered: full-time, part-time, permanent or temporary.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV driving experience is preferred.
• Cat C entitlement and full CPC and tachograph ability.
• No more than six points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation and safety first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Securely moving palletised parcels to couriers or collecting from delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-2 stops and completing paperwork accurately.
• Assist with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck when required.
• Interact with customers and represent the company professionally.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Shift:

• Nights- Sunday to Friday (Sunday's and Fridays required) - typically 23:59pm starts and occasional 03:00am start on a Sunday

Pay Rate:

• Nights - £18.61 per hour PAYE

Location:Weybridge, KT13

Job Type:

Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent / permanent role from day one available for nights

The role:

Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week nights.

Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

Excellent communication skills.
