Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on weekends.

Shifts include Weekend Day, Night, and Twilight with starts from 04:00 to 06:00, 01:00, and 14:00 respectively. Expect palletised dispatches, loading/unloading via tail lift, and reliable, customer-facing service from a safety-first driver.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
• Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.
• Typically completing 1 to 2 runs during the day.
• Assist with loading and unloading using tail lift and pump truck.
• Engage with customers while upholding a professional image on behalf of the company.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on weekends.

Shifts:

• Weekend Day Drivers - predominately Sunday but potential for Saturdays.


• Start times between 04:00am - 06:00am


• Night shift 01:00am


• Twilight shift 14:00pm

Pay Rate:

• Class 2 Days- £15.11 per hour PAYE


• Class 2 Nights - £16.92 per hour PAYE


• Class 2 Twilight - £16.02 Per hour PAYE

The role:

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

Excellent communication skills.
