Job summary

Jewson Stockport, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking a customer delivery driver to safely bring building materials to customers across our Stockport branch cluster, including Cheadle, Altrincham, Marple and Hazel Grove.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph, operate the HIAB crane where required, load/unload goods, and support the team to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries in a varied role.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 license and CPC card.
• Digi Tachograph card required.
• HIAB/ crane operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers.
• Load and unload goods at customer sites.
• Operate the HIAB crane when required.
• Support team members to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Cover absence within a designated area, assigned to Jewson Stockport branch and nearby branches.

Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area.You will be assigned to our **Jewson Stockport** branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.These branches are; Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Altrincham, Marple, Hazel Grove, Manchester central Romiley, Bredbury, Ashton under LyneYou will be paid a subsistence.**What are we looking for?**· A valid **HGV Class 2** (Category C) licence· A valid **CPC Card** and **Digi Tachograph** card· Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessityWant to be part of our team?
