Job summary

Cleansing Service Group Limited in the UK is hiring a Class 2 Driver to join our team in Aylesford. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect non-hazardous waste, with duties including daily paperwork, customer liaison and safe, efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence holder.
• CPC qualification and Digi-card.
• Previous driving experience in waste sector preferred; full training provided.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and numeracy abilities for paperwork.
• Flexible approach to duties and shifts.
• Basic IT skills; works with handheld tablet.

Responsibilities

• Collect non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 vehicle.
• Daily duties include some heavy lifting.
• Willingness to spend nights out away on occasion (night out payment).
• Advising and communicating with customers.
• Averaging 40 hours per week, plus overtime.
• Ensure driver paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Raise issues with Line Manager promptly.
• Deliver outstanding service and retain customer loyalty.
• Follow Health and Safety policy and drive safely.

Role Accountabilities:

• The driver will be collecting non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 Vehicle.
• Daily duties will involve some heavy lifting.
• Must be willing to spend nights out away on the odd occasion. (night out payment).
• Advising & communicating with customers.
• Averaging 40 hours a week, plus overtime.
• Ensure that all driver related paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Raise any issues, problems, or concerns with your Line Manager at the earliest opportunity.
• Deal with Customers in a manner that retains their loyalty to the Company and delivers an outstanding service.
• Ensure compliance with the Group's Health and Safety policy and behaviours.
• Drive and operate Company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and legal manner.

The Candidate:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• CPC qualification
• Previous relevant driving experience and possession of a Digi-card
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
• A level of written and mathematical skills, as there will be paperwork involved.
• A flexible approach to the role
• Experience of working in the waste sector, full training will be given
• A basic understanding of IT, works are delivered with a handheld tablet.
