People Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a client in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. Earn £15.90 per hour with Monday–Friday shifts, early starts, weekly pay, and ongoing work with no handball.

Role suits drivers with Category C licence, CPC, tachograph card and at least 12 months experience, with good English and reliable timekeeping. Immediate starts available and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months' Category C driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No major driving endorsement codes
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Strong understanding of road transport regulations and vehicle safety
• Desirable: previous HGV driving experience beyond minimum

Responsibilities

• Completing RDC and brewery deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
• Safely operating Category C vehicles
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring all loads are correctly secured before departure
• Completing deliveries safely and within scheduled times
• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
• Assisting with vehicle loading and unloading where required, without handballing
• Following road traffic legislation, drivers' hours regulations and company safety procedures
• Training: Driver assessment before starting and one-day paid induction

HGV Class 2 Driver – Wetherby, West Yorkshire – £15.90 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering £15.90 per hour, consistent Monday to Friday working, early morning starts, weekly pay and ongoing work, with no handball required and immediate starts available.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid Lorry Driver or HGV Delivery Driver.
