Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Excellent pay, ongoing work, weekly pay and full training are available with immediate starts.

Roles require a minimum of two years’ HGV Class 2 experience, a valid UK Category C licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card. On-site work with comprehensive company support and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence issued in the UK.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card ownership.
• Minimum two years' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations.
• Completing loading and unloading tasks safely and accurately.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Adhering to road traffic laws and transport regulations.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Communicating with dispatch teams, customers and site staff.
• Following company procedures and transport compliance requirements.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, immediate starts and long-term opportunities for experienced drivers.

£16.90–£19.79 Per Hour | Various Shifts Available | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts | Full Training

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid HGV Driver or Multi-Drop Delivery Driver. Important: A minimum of two years' HGV Class 2 driving experience is essential.

Shifts

• 24-hour operation

Rates of Pay

• £16.90 – £19.79 per hour
• PAYE – holiday pay accrued separately

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum two years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No IN, DR, DD or CD driving endorsement codes
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of road safety and transport compliance

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience working within a busy transport or distribution environment
