People Solutions are recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client in Leicester. The role involves delivering goods, driving Class 2 vehicles, and adhering to routes and schedules.

We offer an excellent hourly rate, ongoing work, weekly pay, training provided, and immediate starts. Applicants should have UK Category C licence and CPC card, with a focus on safety and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C Licence.
• Minimum six months Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements.
• No major endorsement codes.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Delivering goods to customer locations in line with planned routes.
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and transport regulations.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers.
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• No heavy lifting involved.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Leicester

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver - Leicester to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and opportunities to grow and progress within a busy transport operation.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or Truck Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 16:00

Rates of Pay:

£15.80 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
