Job summary

THX Ltd is seeking a Customer Delivery Operative – HGV Class 2 to deliver hire equipment to customers while providing a high level of service. The role aims to achieve 98% on-time delivery and requires a clean UK HGV Class 2 licence with CPC, plus experience in driving and handling loading/unloading tasks.

You may also support other THX departments during quieter periods and will work on a schedule starting between 5:00am and 7:30am, Monday to Friday. A rewarding benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing excellent customer service.
• A valid, clean UK HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC.
• Experience in driving and delivering goods.
• Familiarity with IT and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire equipment to customers on time and with a friendly service.
• Maintain 98% on-time delivery target.
• Resolve problems and communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Load and unload equipment using proper lifting techniques.
• Follow safe working practices while driving and loading/unloading.
• Occasionally support Warehouse or Workshop departments.
