Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in Norton Canes. You will handle multi-drop deliveries with a focus on timely, safe customer service and reliable adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining tachograph compliance, following health and safety guidelines, and coordinating with the team to ensure smooth logistics. Pumps truck operation may be required on occasion.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence and clean driving record.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and geographic knowledge.
• Understand health and safety regulations and tachograph rules.

Job description

• Monday to Friday
• 7AM STARTS
• 10 HOUR SHIFTS ON AVERAGE
• ASAP START DATES
• 1 YEAR ON LICENCE NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS

As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining a good customer service attitude and approach. You will adhere to departure times and abide by all traffic and tacho legislation.

All work is palletised so very little handball will be involved. You may need to operate a pump truck.on occasion

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of multi-drop deliveries and a good knowledge of the surrounding geographical area. In addition, there must be a good understanding of health and safety, attention to detail and the ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
