Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our delivery team. You will perform multi-drop deliveries from our Delivery Centre or Hub to customers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time, while providing excellent customer service.

Holders of a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) UK driving licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are preferred. The role includes loading/unloading, paperwork, and daily vehicle checks in a fast-paced environment.

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) UK driving licence, Driver Qualification Card (CPC), and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries within the local area, ensuring customers receive orders on time.
• Coordinate with the depot team to load orders correctly before departure.
• Load and unload stock safely and efficiently.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and manage payments where required.
• Drive responsibly and comply with legal and company requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Manage chilled and frozen deliveries in line with procedures.
• Maintain vehicle, stock, and equipment security.
• Uphold high standards of customer service.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Maintain housekeeping standards for vehicle and depot.

We currently have an opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

You will be responsible for delivering orders from our Delivery Centre or Hub to customers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. As a key representative of the business, you will provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and company procedures.
