Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in the UK. You will deliver orders from our Delivery Centre or Hub to customers, ensuring safe, on-time, compliant deliveries and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include multi-drop runs, loading/unloading, paperwork, and daily vehicle checks. You will work with the depot team to ensure accuracy and compliance, with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) UK licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries within the local area, ensuring customers receive orders on time.
• Work with the depot team to ensure orders are loaded correctly before departure.
• Load and unload stock safely and efficiently.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and collect payments where required.
• Drive responsibly with compliance to legal and company requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, report defects, and maintain records.
• Manage chilled and frozen deliveries per company procedures.
• Maintain vehicle, stock, and equipment security at all times.
• Uphold high standards of customer service.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Maintain depot and vehicle housekeeping to standard.
• Keep transport documentation up to date per guidelines.

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

You will be responsible for delivering orders from our Delivery Centre or Hub to customers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. As a key representative of the business, you will provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and company procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) UK driving licence, Driver Qualification Card (CPC), and Digital Tachograph Card.
