Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver in Radcliffe, Manchester. The role involves delivery driving with 12–15 drops daily, occasional picking/packing, loading and unloading while ensuring safety, accuracy and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 driving licence.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar Class 2 Driver role.

• Minimum age of 25 due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out delivery driving with 12–15 drops per day.
• Assist with picking, packing, loading and unloading as needed.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
• Support both day runs and overnight deliveries with flexible start/finish times.
• Work within warehouse and fleet environment safely.

Job description

Job Title - Class 2 Driver
Location - Radcliffe, Manchester
Salary: £36,000
Shift: Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week, early starts and varying finish times. Overnight stays typically 2–3 nights per week, paid at an additional £24 per night.

Job Role of the Class 2 Driver

You will be responsible for carrying out delivery driving to meet customer demands, with an average of 12–15 drops per day. You will also occasionally support with picking, packing, loading and unloading, ensuring all customer deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.

The role will involve both day runs and overnight deliveries, with flexibility essential as start and finish times will vary depending on the allocated run.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Class 2 Driver

• Valid UK Class 2 driving licence.

• Experience carrying out multiple customer deliveries.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Ability to use IT databases and keyboard systems.
• Reliable, committed and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically and mentally capable of manual/mechanical work.

Desirable Requirements for the Class 2 Driver

• Fork Lift Truck licence or previous FLT experience.
• Warehouse, picking and packing experience.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
