Job summary

HG Recruitment Solutions is hiring HGV Class 2 drivers for multi‑drop deliveries around Enfield. You will work Monday to Friday with early starts and minimum 8 hours per shift, earning weekly PAYE rates with holiday accrual and optional holiday pay.

Training and ongoing CPC upskilling are provided; you will join a supportive team and gain access to driver portal tools, 24/7 support, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience.
• Experience with multi‑drop deliveries.
• Understanding of Driver's Hours (WTD) regulations.
• Digi Tacho and CPC cards held.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe working practices for personal and others' safety.
• Load own vehicle at start of shift.
• Multi‑drop deliveries to hospitality venues within ~30 miles.
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues.
• Deliver within delivery windows and communicate defects as needed.
• Be time‑keeping, able to work unsupervised.
• Maintain enthusiasm and reliability in delivering first‑class service.

Drivers required: HGV Class 2 multi drop drivers

LOCATION: Enfield

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers in partnership with Bookers. Professional Class 2 multi drop drivers are required.

RATES:

Days: £21.50 per hour PAYE with holiday accrued ***** £24.30 per hour Rolled Up
Overtime after 45 hours paid at : £32.25 per hour PAYE with holiday accrued ******* £36.45 per hour Rolled up
****Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours £1,182.50 PAYE with holiday accrued and £1,336.50 with holiday pay included****
****Expected annual earnings hours £61,490 PAYE holiday accrued and £69,498 with holiday pay included****

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Responsible for loading own vehicle at the start of shift
• Multi – drop to restaurants and other hospitality venues in a 30 mile radius of site
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGV Class 2 drivers must Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can‑do attitude to work

Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 Cat C licence – minimum 12 months
• Minimum of 6 months experience on multi drop
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
• Good national geographical awareness
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can‑do attitude to work
