Job summary

HG Recruitment Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a role based in Hemel Hempstead. The position offers days shifts with PAYE rates of £20.44–£25.37 per hour, with weekly pay based on 55 hours and an expected annual earnings around £60k.

Drivers required: HGV Class 1 Driver

LOCATION: Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7DX

RATES:

• Days: £20.44-25.37 per hour PAYE accrued and RUP options available
• Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours £1276.79 per week
• Expected annual earnings £60k pa

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in partnership with Booker Retail.

DUTIES:

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGV Class 1 Drivers must carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements:

• Class 1 licence – minimum 12 months
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
• Good national geographical awareness
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
