Job summary

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers in partnership with EVRi to support the Southampton site. Start times between 02:00 am and 12:00 pm, part-time Friday to Monday, with duties including multi-drop deliveries across the local area.

As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Day Driver, you’ll deliver goods safely and efficiently across Southampton, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Recent experience in multi-drop or similar driving roles (NEW PASS WELCOME).

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across local routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accuracy and care of all items.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication with the transport team and customers.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

HGV Class 2 | Southampton

HG Recruitment are recruiting Class 2 Drivers in partnership with EVRi, to support Southampton site. Start times between 02:00 am - 12:00 pm, part time Friday - Monday. Duties include completing multi-drop deliveries across the local area.

Pay rates

• Days £15.09 (Holiday Accrued)
• Nights £16.65 (Holiday Accrued)

As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Day Driver, you’ll play a key role in delivering goods safely and efficiently across the Southampton area. You’ll ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery to multiple customer locations while maintaining high standards of safety and service.
