Job summary

Panda is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to operate Artic Moving Floor trailers from our Widnes depot. The role targets safe driving, vehicle presentation, and reliable service across the region, with a Monday–Friday pattern and an average 58 hours per week.

The package includes guaranteed hours, pension, PPE, uniform and ongoing training to support a long‑term career within our essential waste and recycling transport team.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence is essential.
• Up‑to‑date Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph card must be held.

Responsibilities

• Operates HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles and Artic Moving Floor trailers.
• Maintains daily walk‑around checks and reports defects promptly.
• Keeps accurate tachograph records in line with EU hours rules.
• Adheres to safety standards and transport regulations.
• Provides professional service at all collection and delivery points.
