Job summary

Panda is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for its Widnes depot to operate Artic Moving Floor trailers and responsibly manage waste transport duties. You will work a Monday–Friday pattern with an average of 58 hours, with overtime opportunities and a focus on safe, reliable deliveries.

The role requires a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, plus at least 2 years’ Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of UK driver compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Reliable, self-motivated with excellent communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles and Artic Moving Floor/Walking Floor trailers.
• Work Monday–Friday, averaging 58 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.
• Perform daily walk-around checks, report defects promptly, and maintain tachograph records.
• Adhere to transport laws, road regulations and site safety protocols.
• Deliver professional service at all collection and delivery points.
