Job summary

Panda is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for our Widnes depot to operate Artic Walking Floor trailers. This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour core week with extensive overtime opportunities, averaging about 58 hours weekly.

You will drive safely, present a professional vehicle, and contribute to reliable waste and recycling deliveries. This position includes a company pension, Death in Service benefit, full PPE and uniform, and ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Tachograph card.
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Familiar with WTD regulations and tachograph records.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 Artic Moving Floor trailers regionally.
• Maintain daily vehicle checks and tachograph records.
• Adhere to safety and transport regulations.
• Provide professional service at delivery points.
• Attend to late nights or Saturdays for extra earnings.
