Smart Solutions is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a permanent role in Widnes, operating Artic Walking Floor trailers. You will drive on a Monday–Friday schedule with 6am starts and guaranteed hours, delivering and collecting goods while maintaining tachograph records and providing excellent service to customers.

The role offers a permanent position, regular overtime, and a modern fleet with full PPE. OTE up to £49,590 based on an average 58-hour week.

Formación

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Safe and responsible driving approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Walking Floor experience preferred, transferable experience considered.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Class 1 vehicles with Artic Walking Floor trailers.
• Complete collections and deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate digital tachograph records.
• Follow Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Provide professional customer service at collection and delivery sites.

Up to £49,590 OTE

£15.26 per hour basic | £19.07 per hour overtime

Smart Solutions are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent opportunity with our client in Widnes, operating Artic Walking Floor trailers.

THE ROLE

• Driving Class 1 vehicles with Artic Walking Floor trailers
• Completing collections and deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining accurate digital tachograph records
• Following Driver Hours and Working Time regulations
• Providing professional customer service at collection and delivery sites

PAY & HOURS

• £15.26 per hour basic rate
• £19.07 per hour after 40 hours
• Saturday: £22.89 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £30.52 per hour
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Regular overtime available
• OTE up to £49,590 based on an average 58-hour working week
