Job summary

Connect Appointments in Widnes is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established logistics business. New pass drivers welcome. You will transport processed wood to power plants using walking floor trailers and complete delivery paperwork accurately, while maintaining safe and professional driving standards.

We offer a full-time, year-round role with day and night shifts. A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph cards are required, with no more than 6 points and no restricted

HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established logistics business based in

Widnes - new pass drivers welcome.

Our client transports processed wood to power plants using walking floor trailers, offering year-round work with a choice of shift patterns across days and nights.

What's on offer?

• Full-time position - ongoing work 12 months a year

Choice of two shift patterns:

• 4-on 4-off - four days off every week
• Sunday to Thursday

Days and nights available

• Average 12-hour shifts

Paid weekly at £19.05 to £23.53 per hour

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Transporting processed wood to power plants using walking floor trailers
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence -

new pass drivers welcome

• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
