GB Global in Felixstowe is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 night Driver to join the Drivers department. The role involves safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK from Felixstowe and surrounding ports.

• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude.

Description

We are seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 night Driverto join the team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required

• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous
• Familiarity with working on port of Felixstowe, LGW & Tilbury
• Hold a clean valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence, along with an in‑date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• RHIDES Card advantageous
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude
• Consideration will also be given to drivers with good HGV Class 1 experience
