Uniserve Group in Southampton is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 night driver to support the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK. You will operate in a night shift, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a clean Class 1 C+E licence, in-date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card, with ADR training welcomed. Salary is £41,195.56 per year, with overtime and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with port operations (Felixstowe, LGW, Tilbury).
• Hold clean valid Class 1 C+E licence, with in-date DQC and Tachograph Card.
• ADR is preferred but training can be provided.
• RHIDES Card is advantageous.

Description

James Kemball, is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 night drivers to join the team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.

Will consider new drivers

Salary: £41,195.56 salary quoted excl. overtime and performance related bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous
• Familiarity with working on port of Felixstowe, LGW & Tilbury
• Hold a clean valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence, along with an in‑date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• RHIDES Card advantageous
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude
• Consideration will also be given to drivers with good HGV Class 1 experience
