Job summary

GB Global is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our drivers team in Felixstowe. This full-time role offers weekend work and a salary of £37,998 per year, excluding overtime and bonuses.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK from Felixstowe ports, with opportunities for annual salary reviews and employee perks.

Qualifications

• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous.
• Hold a clean valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence, along with an in‑date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• RHIDES Card advantageous
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude
• Consideration will also be given to drivers with good HGV Class 1 experience

James Kemball, is seeking a qualified HGV Class 1 Tramper/day drivers to join the team.

We will consider new drivers

Salary: £37,998 (Weekend working available) salary quoted excl. overtime and performance related bonus.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of containers across the UK.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required

• 2 years container experience with skeletal trailers is advantageous
• Familiarity with working on port of Felixstowe, LGW & Tilbury
• Hold a clean valid Class 1 C+E HGV licence, along with an in‑date DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• RHIDES Card advantageous
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and manual handling procedures
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Collaborative approach with a positive, proactive attitude
• Consideration will also be given to drivers with good HGV Class 1 experience
