Job summary

Uniserve at Heathrow is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our airfreight operation. You will move import and export freight between airline cargo terminals and handling agents around Heathrow, ensuring shipments are delivered safely and on time.

This is a permanent night shift role, Monday to Friday, 6:00pm – 4:00am, offering a structured weekday schedule with no weekend work. Previous airfreight or airline transfer experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and transport compliance.
• Reliable, safety-focused and professional approach.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work.

Responsibilities

• Complete airline transfer deliveries around Heathrow.
• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in line with legal and company requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Follow Drivers' Hours, WTD and tachograph regulations.
• Load, unload and move freight, pallets and ULDs safely.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, airlines and transport teams.

Description

Uniserve is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our Heathrow airfreight operation. You'll be responsible for moving import and export freight between airline cargo terminals and handling agents around Heathrow, ensuring shipments are delivered safely and on time.
